What is a mechanical mod?

A basic mechanical mod consists of a tube made out of stainless steel, aluminum or brass. It contains no circuit board e.g. no wires or electronic components and runs directly off the battery. The current in the battery reaches the attached atomizer/cartomizer/clearomizer via a firing pin/button located along the tube. When the coil heats up, your e-juice is vaporized.

Since there isn’t any circuitry involved, mechanical mods are very durable and modifiable. Using these mods can potentially be harmful to first-timers or individuals with limited knowledge on the subject.
