What do I need to start dripping?

If you aren't sure what this is, it's when a vaper drips a few drops of e-liquid directly on the coil then inhaling the vapor produced from it. The reason vapers are doing this is to get bigger clouds, as well as getting more intense flavor. While it might seem simple, it's something that can be dangerous if it isn't done correctly. Another thing to know is that there are a few situations in which dripping isn't plausible.

Some of those are listed below:

Situation #1: When someone is vaping because they need the nicotine. The biggest reason for this is because dripping is time consuming and probably won't give you the amount of nicotine you need.

Situation #2: Some vapers who are a little on the lazy side. Since it takes time to learn and master the technique of dripping, people who don't want to spend a bunch of time and just want to have a quick vape session aren't going to like this method.

Situation #3: When someone doesn't really care too much for the vapor produced or the flavor intensity. The reason for that is because this method is all about getting intense flavor and a lot of vapor. If the vaper doesn't care about these things, then they're going to be wasting their time.

Final Situation: When someone just wants to vape because they don't want to smoke traditional cigarettes. This method is for someone who considers vaping a hobby and likes to experiment.

While the basic concept is to drip the e-liquid directly on the coil, there are steps that need to be taken to work your way up to that. We'll look at those below:

Step #1: Open your atomizer. Once you do this, you'll have a clear view of your coils and bridge.

Step #2: You're going to want to attach a drip tip to the mouthpiece of your device.

Step #3: Once you do that, you want to drip about 3-4 drops of e-liquid directly on the coils. If they aren't accessible, then you'll want to put the drops on the bridge.

Final Step: Inhale as soon as the drops hit the coil!

It seems easy, but it does take some practice to get it perfect.

Now that we've talked about how to actually drip, we need to look at the different materials you will need to do it.

Drip Tip
The first piece of equipment is called the drip tip. A drip tip is going to be what you put your lips on to inhale the vapor. The reason this is essential is because you don't want to put your lips directly on hot coils because you will get burnt. There are hundreds of different styles of drip tips and they are usually made from things such as aluminum, ceramic, glass, wood, and copper to name a few. To know which one you prefer, you'll have to do a lot of trial and error.

Dripping Atomizer
This is a piece of equipment that is made specifically for this type of vaping. It will heat up, so you can inhale the vapor. The two basic types are: a bridge-less atomizer and a rebuildable atomizer. The bridge-less one is pretty much what's inside of your actual unit if you removed the bridge over the coil. The rebuildable atomizer is one where you don't have to replace the coils because you can build your own.

Drip Shield
The final piece of equipment you'll need is a drip shield. In short, these are just tubes that slide right over atomizer and drip tip. It's used to catch any e-liquid that leaks out while your dripping.
