My mechanical mod isn't working, how can I fix this?
- Check the battery:
A low or drained battery will always cause your mechanical mod to not fire properly. If this is the case, you will need to exchange the drained battery for a fully charged one.
- Adjust pins:
Another issue that could be causing your mod to not fire properly is, poor pin alignment. You need the pins to have firm, solid contact with the atomizer and the battery. You want to make sure that the bottom pin makes contact with the battery, and the top pin needs to make contact with your atomizer.
If you hear your battery rattle, tighten everything again.
- Clean your device:
Dirt, grime and/or e-liquid residue will buildup over time. Therefore it's always good to thoroughly clean your device, since the gunk can cause a poor transfer of power.
- Examine the Fire Button:
There are always a couple of things to check with regards to the fire button.
If it's hot, you could be experiencing a short. All you need to do is disassemble the device and perform a thorough cleaning.
It could also be the magnet inside the button. If it's broken or cracked, you will feel an intense heat after a couple seconds when pressing it down. Unfortunately the only fix is to replace the magnets.
